Jeffery
Stride - Les Masseries Bridge 73x116cm
During the winter of 2004 and again in late 2005, painter
Jeff Stride spent several weeks in Bhopal and made a collection
pastels depicting life in the bastis and around the city.
The works were exhibited in London in December 2005 and raised
money for the Bhopal Medical Appeal. A second exhibition is
planned for the autumn of 2007 in Provence. Jeff is married
to fellow-painter Sally Davies Stride. They live in the Lot
valley of southern France and draw inspiration from its landscapes. |
